This policy explains which personal data is processed when you use this website, in compliance with Algerian law no. 18-07 of 10 June 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, and, for people residing in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data, and why
- Contact requests (via WhatsApp). When you fill in a contact, search or valuation form, the information entered (name, phone, type of transaction and property, district, details) is used to compose a WhatsApp message that you choose to send. This data is only transmitted when you confirm sending it, through WhatsApp. Purpose: to respond to your property enquiry.
- Receiving the guide and newsletter. If you request the guide, your first name and email address are used to send it to you and, where relevant, to share information about our properties and services. This email service is operated by the provider Brevo, when activated.
- Browsing. The website uses no audience-measurement tool and no tracking or advertising cookies.
Legal basis
Depending on the case: your consent (newsletter), the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request (responding to your project), and the legitimate interest of Manazil Ihkem in developing a business relationship.
Recipients and providers
Your data may be processed by the following providers, strictly for the purposes above:
- Netlify, Inc.: website hosting (United States).
- Meta / WhatsApp: messaging, only if you send a message.
- Brevo: email delivery (European Union), for the guide and the newsletter.
- Google: "Google Fonts" web fonts. Loading them sends your IP address to Google; no cookie is set for this purpose.
- Instagram / Meta: videos embedded on the Gallery page. Displaying them may lead Meta to set third-party cookies. An information banner notifies you of this.
Transfers outside Algeria and the European Union
Some providers (Netlify, Meta, Google) are located outside Algeria and the European Union. These transfers are governed by the appropriate safeguards put in place by these companies, in particular standard contractual clauses.
Retention period
Data linked to an enquiry is kept for as long as needed to handle it, then archived or deleted. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to ihkem@manazil-dz.com.
In Algeria, you can refer the matter to the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (ANPDP). If you reside in the European Union, you can lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (for example the CNIL in France).
Security
The website is served over HTTPS and we apply reasonable measures to protect your data. As the internet is never completely secure, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
